Accommodation
We work with accommodation providers all around the Lakes from independent hostels, YHA's to Tents and Tipi's.
We are trade partners with the YHA so we can offer you the best rates available. Full board includes Breakfast, Packed Lunch and Evening meals.
Overnight expeditions are available so one of your evenings can be spent sleeping under the stars.
Already have your accommodation sorted? Not a problem! We can work out from where you are based.
What do we provide?
We deliver bespoke packages that we co-design with you, with your aims and objectives at the forefront. Whether you are looking to bring the Nation Curriculum alive, help develop students' personal and social skills or for something more specific out of your trip, we can help you.
Learning doesn’t end when you leave! Through fun reviews and reflection, our skilled tutors will help pupils to understand how their experiences relate to their real lives. This transfer of learning can then be applied and developed both at school and in their personal lives.
Why Us?
We operate in loads of different venues around the Lake District which means we have a lot more flexibility within the programmes that we deliver. We only use real adventurous activities in our programmes, giving each student a true outdoor experience in nature
We have over 20 years of designing and running bespoke trips and residentials for schools and organisations from half-day activities to week-long, fully-catered residentials.
All our staff are highly experienced and super skilled outdoor practitioners. Each group will have a dedicated tutor for the week.
Why Outdoor Education?
Whatever your aims are for your trip, the benefits of Outdoor Adventurous Activities are plain to see. The very nature of OAA builds each individual's confidence and resilience, it teaches them skills of working within a team and communicating effectively as well as helping with their mental health and wellness.
Our Programmes
We deliver quality outdoor learning in a real environment and our programmes reflect this in their design. Time is allowed for the participants to ‘be’ in nature and ‘discover’ what’s around them, whether that be picking Bilberries on a hillside or watching as the sun sets over the mountains, they will make memories that they will remember for ever!
